Lyricslo respects intellectual property and believes every creator deserves clarity regarding ownership.
Custom Projects
Upon receipt of full payment, copyright ownership of custom-written work transfers to the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Ghostwriting
For ghostwriting projects, Lyricslo does not claim public authorship unless the client requests or approves credit.
Portfolio Rights
Unless restricted by a confidentiality agreement or client request, Lyricslo may showcase selected excerpts or project information within its portfolio. Confidential or unpublished works will not be displayed without permission.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Copyright registration (where applicable)
- Music composition registration
- Publishing administration
- Royalty collection
- Licensing arrangements
Existing Materials
Clients must ensure that any lyrics, melodies, references, or other materials they provide do not infringe the rights of third parties.
Lyricslo is not responsible for copyright disputes arising from client-supplied content.
